Boundaries for Families lets a parent manage their child's spending from one place. You fund your child's account with an allowance, set daily or weekly spending limits for each child, and choose which categories they're allowed to buy from — everyday essentials yes, impulse buys no. Every purchase appears in a live transaction feed, so you always know what your kids are spending the moment money moves. No. Boundaries is built on an offline-first, privacy-by-design architecture. All your budgets, spending limits, and transaction history are stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData — they never leave your device unless you explicitly opt into a future cloud sync feature. We don't sell or share your financial data. The only information we collect is your email address if you join the waitlist or beta program.

Apple Watch integration is on our roadmap. The Activity Rings system in Boundaries was inspired by Apple's fitness rings and is designed to feel native to the Apple ecosystem. While the initial release focuses on iPhone, Watch support — including glanceable ring progress and quick spending alerts on your wrist — is a feature we're actively planning for a future update.
