1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Boundaries (the "App") or our website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use our Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Boundaries is a personal finance discipline application designed to help users set and enforce spending boundaries. The Service includes our iOS application, marketing website, and any associated APIs or tools (collectively, the "Service"). Boundaries is currently in beta and features, availability, and pricing may change at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or submitting forms.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at legal@boundaries.app.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Boundaries is currently offered as a beta product ("Early Access"). As a beta user:

• You understand the Service may contain bugs, errors, and incomplete features.
• Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
• Beta access may be revoked at any time at our sole discretion.
• We appreciate your feedback — by submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without compensation or attribution.
• The Service is provided "as is" during beta without any guarantees of stability or continuity.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or malicious code or content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.

The information and tools provided through the Service are for personal organizational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy or completeness of any financial information within the App. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any financial decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BOUNDARIES, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

BOUNDARIES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying you via email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
